Also I tried twice to add photos of my own to this site but there is a 'bloaturl' evil script lurking somewhere that blew them up to poater size. I think that was done by criminals trying to steal my photos to make posters/prints of my paintings illegally.Remember my paintings and photographs are copyrighted as intellectual properties. There is an unauthorized person hacking into my acct via use of telephone wifi and the legal authorities know of this and are investigating it. Don't trade in stolen art--prison is the penalty. Also note that I am cautious not to add links that are contaminated so that explains the no images here of mine. I started painting in 1973, and have had two public displays of my work in Georgia, and in museums in Georgia. I paint in oils and acrylics; but draw/sketch in whatever I have including acrylics,watercolors, goauche,powdered pastels,charcoals, pen/ink, tempera,pencils.! I sometimes paint to make a statement in the political realm; and sometimes I just paint the scenes I like; and sometimes I paint from my imagination!. The themes I like most are water as in oceans, and sunsets, or surreal light; but I paint many subjects especially of people lately. I have also painted about 16 paintings in oils, in what I call my "ethnic series" of paintings of one person from each nationality, and they are not people known to me personally in any way, and those paintings are not of real people but painted from my 'mind's eye' so to speak--not from live people or even images on the news. I have lately done sketches of real people I saw in the news either on BBC or internet news so I could really study their faces. This year, I have done many more people who are real, or attempted to paint them I should say of different nationalities of people who I saw in the news either on the internet news or TV, as sketches so far,meaning I probably will paint them in oils at some point in time, at http://gloriapoole.com/my-sketches and the pencil or pen drawings before paint applied are often at: http://gloriapoole.com/drawings.

I sign my paintings as "Gloria" in cursive on the front and usually on the back with my surname of Poole also. The only exception to that is when the paintings were not finished/completed. I have some of those paintings on display on several websites listed in links below, and have more to add later.

The main work of my life is the cause of the unborn children who need heroes! Also note that today March 20,2009 I deleted two pages from this website because they were corrupt as shown by about fifteen people trying to connect to my computer via those pages. I may add the content of those pages back in time; but to be safe I am leaving them off. I added THE LORD's Prayer [the prayer JESUS prayed for HIS followers] to the links-and-contact page.
